EPM set to double graphite electrode production

Russian carbon products manufacturer EPM will upgrade and expand graphite electrode production at its EPM-Novocherkassk Electrode Plant (EPM-NEP). An agreement to this end was signed earlier this month with Russia's industry and trade ministry, the company says. EPM will invest over RUB 2.7 billion ($42.8 million) to start producing large cross-section graphite electrode, with penned commissioning in 2023. EPM says around 70% of the output will be sold …
