Environmental tribunal orders closure of Bhushan Steel plant
India’s Bhushan Steel has had to close one of its mills for apparent environmental reasons, the company says in a stock exchange posting in Mumbai.
Operations at its Sahibabad unit situated in Uttar Pradesh have been shut down for a period of four weeks. This is by order of India’s National Green Tribunal, Bhushan says without giving any further details.
