Emirates Steel posts revenue, profit decline
Emirates Steel, the steel division of Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA) in the United Arab Emirates, posted a decline in revenue and profit in the second quarter and first half of the year.
Steel division revenue in Q2 declined 15% on-quarter to AED 1.65 billion ($450.37 million), while net profit plunged 82% to AED 15.6m, Kallanish calculates by comparing ESA’s H1 and Q1 earnings reports.
