ELSI to increase coal production after mine acquisitions
Elga Coal and Sibanthracite Group (ELSI), part of Russia’s A-Property, have acquired two coal mines in the Kemerovo region, Razrez Kuznetsky Yuzhny and Razrez Malinovsky, the company says.
The total reserves of the new assets are estimated at 490 million tonnes of T grade metallurgical coal, Kallanish notes. Production is planned to begin in November.
