Electrosteel Steels posts quarterly loss as struggles continue
Troubled Indian steelmaker Electrosteel Steels has posted another quarterly loss in the first period of its 2017-18 financial year. Already involved in bankruptcy proceedings, the company continues to struggle financially although its losses did narrow slightly year-on-year.
“The company has incurred a significant amount of losses leading to erosion of net worth and the Current liabilities exceed the current assets,” the steelmaker says in its notes …
