Anti-dumping threat could see European electrode stockpiling: Roskill
The perceived threat of shortages stemming from Europe’s anti-dumping investigation into Chinese graphite electrodes imports may push EU mills towards early stockpiling, especially amid rising demand, according to Roskill.
The EU launched the probe last month, into electrodes used in electric arc furnaces, after petitioners showed there had been an increase in electrodes imports from China and a negative impact on prices (see Kallanish passim).
