Electrical project delays drag down AZZ earnings
US galvanizer and electrical services company witnessed a sharp drop in its on-year earnings in the fiscal first quarter, though its metal coatings division reported steady business, Kallanish reports.
AZZ earned $5.54 million on sales of $213.29m in the quarter ended 31 May, down from earnings of $21.28m on sales of $289.12m in fiscal Q1 last year.
