El Hadjar Algeria sets 2018 production target
The steel complex of El Hadjar in Algeria, the former ArcelorMittal Annaba, is planning to produce 850,000 tonnes of finished steel products in 2018. This happens as the company continues to invest in order to boost output, Kallanish learns from local sources.
The mill was targeting a production of a little less than 700,000t in 2017, as it officially restarted its production in April. Currently the output is mainly of long products.
