Egyptian Steel plant to launch trials in December
Egyptian Steel plans to begin in December trial production at its new Beni Suef rebar steelworks, despite foreign currency and energy shortages hampering Egyptian industry, a company representative tells Kallanish. The firm’s Ain Sokhna plant, however, could be delayed until the second half of 2016.
