Egyptian Steel plans Sokhna plant commissioning in 2018

Egyptian Steel plans to commission its Ain Sokhna rebar steelworks in early 2018, the firm tells Kallanish. Once this happens the steelmaker says it will produce 2.3 million tonnes/year of saleable steel, taking a 20% share of Egypt’s market.
