Egyptian Steel commissions new Alexandria rebar mill
Egyptian Steel has commissioned a new 250,000 tonnes/year 16-32mm diameter rebar mill at its Alexandria site, the company tells Kallanish. The new line sits alongside the plant’s existing 5.5-12mm dia wire rod mill of the same capacity.
