Egyptian rebar sales rise in July
Egyptian domestic market rebar sales increased 6% on-year in July to 673,000 tonnes, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average price of July sales rose 25% to EGP 12,667/tonne ($708.4 at July exchange rates), but this was still below the all-time high in April.
