Egyptian rebar sales, output surge
Egyptian domestic market rebar sales surged 24% on-year in February to 666,000 tonnes, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average price of February sales rose 33% to EGP 12,139/tonne ($692/t at February exchange rates), down from an all-time high of EGP 12,147.6/t in January.
