Egyptian mills maintain rebar prices, El Garhy reduces
To start the new year, most mills in Egypt have rolled over their rebar prices. However, El Garhy Steel has reduced its rebar price by EGP 100 ($6) to EGP 14,800/tonne ($942) for January deliveries.
Ezz Steel, Beshay Steel, and El Marakby Steel are quoting 12-32mm rebar each at EGP 15,000/t, whereas Suez Steel and Misr Steel are quoting at EGP 14,900/t and EGP 14,850/t, respectively.
