Egypt rebar sales surge 40% in September
Egypt’s domestic rebar sales surged 40% on-year in September to 578,100 tonnes, but their average price was down -6% to EGP 4,789.5/tonne ($611.7), Kallanish learns from the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data. Sales were also up 10% from August.
