Egypt rebar output, domestic sales surge

Egyptian domestic market rebar sales surged 24% on-year in February to 681,400 tonnes, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also up 18% from January. The average price of February sales fell -14% on-year and -3% on-month to EGP 10,040/tonne ($638).
