Egypt extends anti dumping duties on steel
The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry has extended anti-dumping duties on steel imports for another 12 months from China, Turkey and Ukraine. Rebars, wire rods, coils, and sticks imported or originating from China, Turkey, or Ukraine are subject to the extended law, which was initially imposed on 6 June 2017 and lasted on 5 June 2022, Kallanish notes.
