Egypt exports to Spain continue positive trend
The value of Egyptian steel exports slumped -37% on-year in January-June to $252 million, according to Egypt’s Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories and Metallurgy Industries.
Six-month shipments to Saudi Arabia declined -31% on-year to $78.3m but those to Spain surged 56% to $23.54m. Italy-bound exports fell -13% to $21.92m.
Completing the top five destinations, exports to Kenya rose 30% to $15.42m and to the Netherlands surged 179% to $15.09…
