Egypt diverts crude steel output away from rebar

Egyptian domestic market rebar sales slumped -23% on-year in February to 537,500 tonnes, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish. Nevertheless, they rebounded 52% from an almost six-year low in January.
