Egypt 2015 rebar sales grow despite December fall
Egyptian rebar sales declined -21% on-year in December to 559,000 tonnes, bringing to an end three consecutive prior months of on-year increases. Average price also fell, by -4% to EGP 4,774/tonne ($533/t), Kallanish learns from the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data. Sales were, however, up 5% from November.
