Echeng Steel dismantles two converters
Wuhan Iron & Steel's Echeng steel plant dismantled on 27 August two 35-tonne converters with 1.1 million tonnes/year of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes. This is earlier than the mill's previous announcement of the shutdown in March next year.
