Dunaferr seeks energy cost support after resuming production
Dunaferr is seeking Hungarian government support for energy-intensive industries amid soaring energy costs that saw the steelmaker suspend production for two weeks until 7 January. The firm’s natural gas costs for one day of operation had approached €1 million ($1.13m) in December before the shutdown.
