Dubai government extends rebar, rod import duty
The Dubai government has extended indefinitely the 10% import duty on rebar and wire rod, Kallanish notes.
The tariff was temporarily increased from 5% effective 15 April, following an economy ministry notification in February.
The extension was signed on 20 October by Dubai Customs director general Ahmed Mahboob Musabih.
