Dongfang Resources starts tamping coke project
Shanxi Dongfang Resources Development Co. has started construction of its tamping coke project in Jinhceng, Kallanish notes.
The project has a design capacity of 1.06 million tonnes/year. The company will invest CNY 1.5 billion ($230 million), and build one 6.25-metre, 97-oven coke battery.
It is expected to generate annual revenue of CNY 2.5 billion after completion, as well as paying CNY 200m in taxes and creating over 300 jobs.
