Domestic coke struggles, coking coal rebounds
Domestic coke prices were stable last week and the third-round price decrease is expected to be postponed to this week. Meanwhile, coking coal prices rebounded as sales improved in auctions last week.
Kallanish assessed Anze low-sulphur primary coking coal up CNY 50/tonne ($7/t) on-week to CNY 2,500/t ex-works on Friday. Luliang quasi-first-grade wet quenching coke remained at CNY 2,100/t. Rizhao port coke prices are also stable.
