DMK’s January steel output declines, pig iron increases
Ukraine's Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK), now part of Metinvest Group, decreased crude steel production in January, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 220,000 tonnes, down by 4% on-year. However, pig iron production was up 3% to 210,000t, and production of rolled products remained flat on-year at 220,000t.
