DMK’s 2021 steel, pig iron output decline
Ukraine's Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK), now part of Metinvest Group, decreased crude steel production in 2021, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 2.44 million tonnes, down by 5.2% on-year. Pig iron production was down 3.3% to 2.3mt, and production of rolled products decreased 5.1% to 2.43mt.
In December alone, DMK produced 160,000 tonnes, pig iron output was 158,000t and production of rolled products was 150,000t.
