DMK reduces steel output in January-May
Ukraine's Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK), formerly Dzerzhinsky Works, reduced merchant steel production in January-May, the company says.
It amounted to 1.06 million tonnes, down by -3.7% on-year, Kallanish notes.
However, the enterprise increased pig iron production to 1mt, up by 0.6% on-year. Rolled metal production amounted to 327,800 tonnes, up by 4.5% on-year, and sinter production increased to 1.7mt, up by 17.2%.
