DMK ramps up steel, pig iron output
Ukraine's Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK), formerly Dzerzhinsky Works, increased crude steel production in January-August, the company tells Kallanish.
It amounted to 1.76 million tonnes, up by 1.8% on-year. Eight-month-through-August pig iron production rose by 3.8% on-year to 1.61mt. Rolled metal production amounted to 1.75mt, up by 0.3% on-year.
