DMK ramps up production following upgrades
Ukraine’s Dneprovsky (DMK) steelworks continues to ramp up output, having undertaken a number of capital repairs and upgrades in the second half of 2019. The plant is under the management of fellow Ukrainian vertically-integrated steelmaker Metinvest.
In February DMK dispatched 191,608 tonnes of merchant steel products, 4.2% above planned volumes and 3.4% up on-year. January-February dispatches totalled 423,144t, 8.1% above plan and 1.8% up on-year.
