DMK increases steel, pig iron output
Ukraine's Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK), formerly Dzerzhinsky Works, increased crude steel production in January-April, the company says.
It amounted to 865,600 tonnes, up by 2.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. Pig iron production was more by 1% to 800,000t. Rolled steel production amounted to 860,000t, up by 3.5%.
During January-April, 840,600t of steel products were shipped to consumers, which is less by 1.3% on-year.
