Distributor foresees Polish demand rise on projects acceleration
Konsorcjum Stali (KS) expects the launch of delayed EU-funded railway and road projects to help boost Polish steel consumption 2-3% on-year in 2017. Moreover, increased residential and commercial construction is seen improving the Polish distributor and fabricator’s performance.
This follows a record year for Polish steel use in 2016, which reached 13.1 million tonnes, the highest level since 1989.
