Dillinger researches into steel grades for offshore towers
German platemaker Dillinger aims to develop new, customised steel grades for monopiles used in offshore wind towers. To this purpose, it is cooperating with materials researchers from two universities, Saarland University and RWTH Aachen, Kallanish learns.
