Turkish scrap imports fall on-month in May
Turkish scrap imports continued their rise in May. They soared by 73.7% on-year to 2.02 million tonnes. This was mostly because they came from a low, Covid-19-impacted base last year. They, however, decreased from April imports of 2.48mt, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
