Demand slows in Turkish merchant bar export markets
Turkish merchant bar producers are facing a significant decline in demand in major export destinations.
Buyers in the global market are seen to be withholding their purchases in the expectation of lower prices. Although most Turkish merchant bar producers are trying to keep their offer prices unchanged, a decline in prices seems to be inevitable. Some producers have already started offering lower prices in the global market.
