Demand for Turkish merchant bar slows amid holidays
Turkish merchant bar exporters faced low demand last week due to the onset of the holidays, after enjoying lively business for some time.
Although they managed to sell some quantities at the beginning of the week, business came to a halt after Wednesday. However, as scrap and billet prices continued rising throughout the week, mills increased their export quotes despite the slower demand.
