Demand for Turkish merchant bar exports slows down
Turkish mills saw demand for merchant bar reduce last week and had difficulties in concluding the desired export sales volume despite reducing prices, market participants say.
After decreasing export prices by $10-15/tonne the previous week, Turkish merchant bar producers had to further drop by $5/t last week. Their current offers stand mostly at $480-490/t for angles, $490-500/t for IPN-UPN sections, $500-510/t for flat bars and $490-500/t for IPE sections. These…
