Demand for Turkish merchant bar exports recovers
Global demand for Turkish merchant bar improved last week following a slow start to the year.
Despite the rise in demand, however, Turkish mills have kept their prices unchanged. On Friday, quotes out of Turkey stood at $710-720/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $720-730/t for IPN-UPN sections, $740-740/t for flat bars, and $720-730/t for IPE sections.
