Izhstal exports surge in 2021
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm, Izhstal, increased export deliveries in 2021, the company says.
Last year the plant sold 74,000 tonnes abroad, up by 51% on-year, Kallanish notes. The plant exports hot-rolled, calibrated and turned steel, cold-rolled strip, high-precision steel shaped profiles, and steel with special surface finish to the CIS countries, EU, US and Singapore.
