Delong’s Liyang Baorun commissions steelmaking plant
Liyang Baorun, a subsidiary of Chinese stainless steel giant Jiangsu Delong Nickel, officially put its steelmaking plant into production over the weekend, indicating a delay of nearly seven months, Kallanish notes.
With an investment of CNY 3 billion ($417 million), the new plant utilises electric arc furnaces to produce 2.76 million tonnes/year of stainless steel slab.
