Deere turns profit despite ag downturn
US heavy equipment manufacturer Deere & Company turned a profit in its fiscal third quarter despite historically difficult market conditions, Kallanish learns from the company’s earnings review.
Deere posted net income in Q3 of $488.8 million on sales of $6.724 billion, down from a profit of $511.6m on sales of $7.594 billion.
