Deere sees US construction demand falling in 2020
US heavy equipment producer and plate consumer Deere & Company expects North American construction demand to dip sharply in 2020, Kallanish learns from the company’s first-quarter earnings review.
Deere earned $517 million in Q1 on sales of $7.63 billion, up from earnings of $498m on sales of $7.98 billion in Q1 2019.
The company’s construction and forestry equipment division saw sales fall about -10% on-year to $2.04 billion.
