Declining Saudi wire rod supply concerns Jeddah buyers
Saudi Arabian domestic wire rod supply in the Jeddah region, on the Red Sea coast, is tight as the national benchmark mill is about to undertake a 10-15-day maintenance shutdown of its rolling mill.
On the east coast, the benchmark mill is allocating its wire rod supply mainly to Dammam, followed by Riyadh, with the smallest quantities going to Jeddah, Kallanish learns.
