December surge lifts Indian semis exports in 2019
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, soared 173% on-year in December 2019 to 448,994 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. The average value of HS code 720719 billet exports was $374/tonne versus $473/t in December 2018.
