Daye Huaxin unveils ambitious plan for flats
Hubei-based Daye Huaxin Industrial Co., Ltd. on 16 November signed a contract with the municipal government of Daye City for a flat steel project, Kallanish learns from the company’s official release.
Huaxin says it will invest CNY 10 billion ($1.41 billion) to reach 3 million tonnes/year of flats capacity. The main equipment includes a 1,280 cubic metre-blast furnace, a 130-tonne converter and supporting pellet and flat product rolling lines.
