Danieli supplies draw sizing technology for Mexico’s Simec
Italian technology supplier Danieli tells Kallanish it has installed the “Draw Sizing Danieli” (DSD) technological package at Mexican steelmaker Simec’s new steel mill in Apizaco.
The investment is part of the steelmaker’s greenfield project. The annual production capacity of the plant is 600,000 tonnes of speciality steel, large round blooms, bars and wire rod.
