Danieli bags bar-spooler contract from Topy Industries
Technology supplier Danieli tells Kallanish that it has won a contract from Japan’s Topy Industries for a new hot-rolled bar coiling line.
The new line will be installed at Toyohashi Rolling Mill, Aichi Prefecture. It will produce 240,000 tonnes/year of spooled bar coils weighing from 1-3.5 tons at a maximum coiling speed of 35 metres/second the technology supplier says.
