Dali Dagang dismantles EAFs as planned

Privately-owned Dali Dagang Iron & Steel in Yunnan province has shut down and dismantled its two 40-tonne electric arc furnaces as scheduled. This is part of the company’s capacity replacement project, Kallanish notes. In terms of new equipment, the company had planned to build one 70t EAF by the end of 2020, but this has been postponed.
