Dadonghai operates second new converter
China’s Fujian Great Donghai (Dadonghai) has recently put the second 100-tonne converter of its capacity replacement project into production, following the operation of the first converter a month earlier.
After eliminating all old converters, the capacity replacement project’s two 100t converters leave total crude steel capacity unchanged at 2.2 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
