Czech HR flats exports surge despite Turkey absence
The Czech Republic’s hot rolled flat products exports surged 47% on-year in October to 61,877 tonnes, according to Czech Statistical Office (CSU) data monitored by Kallanish.
The main destination was Poland whose intake surged 118% to 31,896t. This was followed by Slovakia which took in 33% more at 12,841t and Germany whose intake more than doubled to 12,751t. Notably, Turkey took in zero versus almost 9,000t in October 2017.
